The State Council Urban Construction Working Committee Visited GWZK Company For Guidance On Work

Minister Liu Shengjia, Director of the Urban Construction Work Committee of The State Council, led a research team to visit Henan State Grid Automatic Control Electric Co., Ltd. for an inspection and research, gaining a thorough understanding of the company's achievements in technological innovation, smart grid construction and urban electrification development.

Accompanied by Chairman Zhou and other leaders of State Grid Automation, Minister Liu Shengjia and his delegation visited the company's exhibition hall, intelligent production workshop and R&D center, and listened in detail to the company's core technological breakthroughs and industrial application achievements in the fields of intelligent power distribution equipment, new energy microgrid systems and smart city power solutions. Minister Liu highly praised the exemplary role played by State Grid Automation in promoting the digital and green transformation of urban power infrastructure, especially affirming the supporting significance of the high-efficiency and energy-saving electrical equipment developed by the enterprise under the "dual carbon" goals for the construction of new urbanization.  

At the symposium, the general manager of State Grid Automation reported to the research team on the practical cases of the enterprise's participation in the national new urbanization construction, the renovation of old power grids, and the electrification projects for rural revitalization, and put forward suggestions for further optimizing policy support and deepening the cooperation among industry, academia and research. Minister Liu Shengjia pointed out: "The high-quality development of towns cannot be separated from the intelligent upgrade of the power system." As a leading enterprise in the industry, State Grid Automation Control should continuously strengthen technological research and development to contribute to the construction of a safe, low-carbon and resilient urban energy system. The Urban Construction Work Committee of The State Council will work in coordination with various departments to create a better environment for enterprises to participate in major national projects. The two sides also had in-depth discussions on issues such as the construction of a new power system and the power supply standards for urban underground utility tunnels, clarifying the direction for the next step of government-enterprise collaboration.
